Hunger Games Pulled After Inspiring Political Action In Thailand

Apparently, The Hunger Games series – and its underlying critique of  governments and institutional manipulation – is reflecting and influencing the sentiments of people in the real world.

“Mockingjay, Part 1″ was recently pulled from theaters in Thailand after anti-militray junta protestersbegan using the film’s three-finger salute as their own.

It’s impossible to know for sure, but it’s a safe bet  that this quote was posted to express residents’ feelings about Missouri’s grand jury situation, in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown.
